Make washing easy to find
Place a handwashing station where guests or workers can use it without returning through occupied rooms or crossing a busy service area. Explain whether it supports toilets, refreshments, outdoor activities or several uses together. Include those independent users in the discussion of supplies.
Agree how the station stays ready
Ask about water, soap, towels, wastewater and replenishment for the proposed period. A station left between occasional events still needs an agreed checking and service arrangement. Keep the approach clear and give the organiser a contact for supply problems rather than assuming the equipment looks after itself.
Account for users who only need washing
People handling refreshments or taking part in an outdoor activity may need a wash even when they do not use the temporary toilets. Describe that extra use when discussing water and supplies. Agree who checks the station during the occasion and how replenishment is requested, rather than waiting until a guest discovers an empty dispenser.
- Uses beyond restroom visits
- Water, soap and towel arrangements
